Amazing sculptures of Elephanta Cave

It’s good to hear wonderful amazing places around the world, rather than hearing I do visit some important places. One of the beautiful caves I met when I on my way to Mumbai which is the gateway to India is the Elephanta cave. I even wonder such a great cave directly carved from the rock around 600 AD. The most beautiful thing in that place is stone sculptures of Hindu gods and goddesses, most notably the Trimurti of Brahma whom they believe as the creator. I thought of illusion when I saw the four heads one and back in the Brahma sculpture later my Indian friend told me that, the heads represent the directions .One thing I need to discuss here, the colonial architecture that they follow is the latest technology which they followed in olden days itself, that is the way of carving more sculpture In the single rock. Their art and sculptor carving is mind blowing that are well executed in sculptures of Shiva the Destroyer and Vishnu the preserver. The Lion sculpture at the entrance of Mandapae calibrates the Indian traditional architecture. There is a lot to confess about the Elephanta cave, but the truth is that one must have been there to enjoy the rare carvings found anywhere in the world.

Trekking is sheer worth than it costs

Everyone in the world had always been looking for the adventurous and most amazing places when they live. But for those who believe in attaining such places I suggest trekking in dense rain forests of Borneo as I did. Trekking is not only for faint hearted rather it needs enjoyment and interest. Malaysian Borneo is enriched with flora like carnivorous plant Raffelesia which is endemic to Borneo especially in Crocker ranges. On the way to dense forest, the people I met make it one of the most unique and enjoyable experience in life. While trekking in the large river systems of Kinabatangan River the pygmy plants can be seen and the rare proboscis monkey can also be seen swinging in the trees. The park in Crocker ranges contains at least five species of mammals including gibbons, orang-utons and rare cute furry tarsier. There are many national parks, so there is a chance to explore and experience the nature and wildlife which are not seen anywhere else in the world. I really mesmerized when I met the tribal people in the miki village and their way of serving shows the spiritual culture. The Kinabalu Park has one of the richest diversity of fauna and flora.

Experience of trekking

There are many types of adventurous activities that may give us thrilling and enthusiastic experiences in spending our free time. Of these activities trekking is an adventurous activity which I am interested in. last week I had a good trekking experience and I would like to share it with you here. It was a rainy day with some drizzling making the trekking atmosphere a pleasant one. I went along with a group of four of my friends to a small mountain nearby my state. The hill was a bit steep and we were thrilled to go up the hill. Since it was a rainy day, our shoes were wet and they became slippery making our trekking process very difficult. We lost the grip in our footsteps and were feeling difficult to climb the mountain. Even though we had a tough time we did not go back. We wanted to complete our desire of trekking and wanted to climb at least half the mountain’s height. We were determined to fulfill our aim and finally succeeded in climbing half the height of the mountain. Then there was a heavy downpour of rain and we had to leave from there. We had a satisfaction of having fulfilled our wish while returning back.

Take up water sports for over all health

Sailing or boating may seem a little overwhelming, what with the high level of technical elements involved in the sport. For example, there are things like "charts", "mainsails" and "tillers" to learn about. Whether you choose a small boat or a catamaran, whether you choose lake or ocean sailing, there are a number of things you need to master before you can start enjoying the pure pleasure of being on the water.
Getting the sailing skills you need to start sailing your own boat is easy if you just sign up with a sailing school. You can learn to sail at any age. There are no restrictions. The best schools and instructors will teach you all you need to know about sailing in a friendly and non-threatening manner.
As with all sports, sailing will get you into contact with new friends. There's a closeness that develops out at sea, however, that not many other sports have. You really get the feel of being one against the awesome power of the natural world and being with friends and family out there on the water serves to strengthen bonds.
Being on the water in any capacity demands a healthy outlook and way of life. Sailing and boating are two sports that demand all our senses to be at their peak. Sailing calls upon physical strength, intelligence and intuition. It is one sport that allows you to leave all your daily concerns and habits back on the land and to be off with only your bare self.

Walk along with a horse

This was a tourist spot and when enquired, the locals told us that it was really impossible to reach the spot and one needs to get help of horse to reach there. But on seeing the geographical structure of the area, we felt that we could climb it on our own without the help of horses. On reaching the entrance of the spot, we were approached by many horse owners and we just ignored them. We decided to discover a new route to the spot and we started our expedition, the area was covered with thick forest, but we had a map of the place and so that made the job much easier. During our expedition, many times we met the horses that carried people and so, we verified that the path we were taking was correct. For some time, we were using the same route as that of the horses and the horses used to run when there was a down slope and at that time, one of my friends got hit by a horse, but nothing serious happened, just a cramp. Then, we finally reached the spot and it was really beautiful, lots of people and excitement and we were happy that we found out a route on our own. This expedition was amazing.

An Adventure down the river

The last tour that I went was to hill station along with my friends and a very huge river flows across the hill and these hills are covered with snow throughout the year. We decided to stay in the hotel for the night and go for trekking the next morning. The next morning was completely foggy and no one woke up and we woke up around 12 P.M. My friends and me walked down the hill and went to the bank of the river and the river was freezing cool. The path to the river was also not proper and we need to search for rocks to get support and climb down and it was a Herculean task, but we dared to go. The rocks were slippery and also the soil over there, our sole aim was to go near the river and touch the cold water. Two of my friends got injured, but still they dint give up and managed to climb down. We all reached the river bank and collected some pebbles and touched the cold water and played some games in the bank. One of my friends did a very good job of tying a rope when climbing down and this made climbing up much easier. This adventure will always remain in my heart for ages to come.
